The year 2022 marks KUOW’s 70th anniversary and DCG ONE was tasked with creating a campaign and brand guide to promote this milestone. The campaign itself celebrates the anniversary as well as engages new listeners and introduces old listeners to the future of KUOW. The concept highlights stories that KUOW has covered, a reason why you should listen, and a reminder of how vital KUOW is in the community as a trustworthy news source. We paired this copy concept with a 1950’s Swiss style with bold patterns, typography and illustration to reinforce its 1952 inception and paired the art with the KUOW core brand colors to allow cohabitation between the parent brand and the campaign brand.
